The Energy Assistance Program for the 2018-19 Season

Welcome to the sign up page for Energy Assistance. For more information about the program and income requirements, please see the Energy Assistance page under the Services tab.

To request an energy assistance appointment, please fill out and submit the form below. Please do not submit your request more than once. The Energy Assistance program includes an educational component that is separate from your appointment. Please fill in the information to schedule a workshop based on your preferences of type of workshop, time, and location.

Due to the high demand for energy assistance it may be 1-3 months before you are scheduled for an energy assistance appointment after you complete your workshop.

Puget Sound Energy Customers:

At this time there is still funding for Energy Assistance through the PSE HELP program to assist with PSE utility costs (not propane, wood, oil, etc.). Assistance is available only if you have not received aid from the PSE HELP program since October 1, 2017. Call the HopeSource office if you are unsure what type of assistance you received in the past.

Kittitas PUD Customers:

There is limited Energy Assistance funding available for people who are PUD customers (the account must be in the name of someone living in the household) and 60 years or older. Please call the HopeSource Ellensburg office to apply.

City of Ellensburg Customers:

There is no additional Energy Assistance funding. See information below about the 2018-19 Energy Assistance season.

Additional Information:

The Energy Assistance program includes an educational component that is separate from your appointment. HopeSource staff will discuss this with you when you call.
